The following instructions will show students how to download the UofL version of the Respondus LockDown Browser from the Blackboard Help pages.

If you have Lockdown Browser test and students are having trouble accessing the exam, please follow the instructions in the workaround below.
***Add an optional password to the exam via the optional password field in the LockDown Browser Dashboard tool.***
Adding this password seems to allow students to enter the exam. You will need to give the students the password you’ve set. You should NOT use the same internally set password that resides on the Blackboard test settings page. Once the password is set on the Lockdown Browser dashboard and saved, be sure to test it to ensure it works.
